My Creative Space, today...Calico dreams

Today as the morning sun comes streaming through my room, I am setting up to create a handmade 'flower girl's' skirt.  I love this one - this is the second one I have made. I have a few morning chores to do first though!

This little frock is made from calico, with a fine light overlay, and a fabric flower to embellish...I hand-make a calico ruffle and really like the natural look and texture of the calico with the fineness of the little overlay, love the tea-stained look too : )
